Merkaba Menu

Merkaba is a craft cocktail lounge and outdoor patio space in San Antonio that takes heavy inspiration from the ancient cultures of southern Mexico and Central America. Every cocktail at Merkaba is expertly crafted to include flavors and essences that act upon the senses. The drinks are served in unique custom-made glassware. I wanted to play off the unique shapes and designs of the glassware as I illustrated the specialty drinks.

After illustrating the vessels, I designed the menu. Merkaba is a nightclub and there are lots of colorful lights that illuminate the venue in the evening, so I chose to keep the menu in grayscale for both legibility and simplicity.
