In the fall of 2015, I re-branded the Student Involvement and Employment Office (SIEO) with the theme of
Get Connected, which included a new identity that used four gears
that represented the four components of the SIEO. These four
categories are Volunteer, Leadership, Employment and
Involvement. I assigned a color to each of the categories, and
throughout the semester, I have tried to stick to those colors when
designing promotional materials for that area.
Working as a graphic design account coordinator for the University Centers at UW-Stevens Point has given me the opportunity to learn how to work on many projects simultaneously, design with a style guide, and work with professional staff, student managers, and local printers. While following a style guide, I was still able to develop different lettering styles and incorporate illustrations that I applied to a variety of promotional materials.
